01
THE STARTING POINT
The idea behind it.
Turn a straightforward typing test into a focused practice space with actionable feedback.
THE CHALLENGE
The original utility did its job, but a fresh experience needed clearer visual rhythm, meaningful stats and respectful local data handling.
THE APPROACH
Use a minimal dark interface, a prominent caret, and measurable feedback; keep results on-device and require opt-in before persisting scores.
02
WHAT WENT INTO IT
Built with intention.
02 / FEATURE
Feedback in real time
Live speed, accuracy, errors, and a clear end-of-session summary.
03 / FEATURE
Local score history
Recent results and best scores stay in the browser, with a delete-history action.
04 / FEATURE
Consent by design
Score persistence is opt-in; the site does not require an account or server database.
03
STATE OF THE BUILD
Where it stands.
CURRENT STATUS / LIVE
KEYLAB is live at keylab.sutkaew.xyz, with test modes, timing options, WPM/accuracy feedback, and opt-in local history.
