01

THE STARTING POINT

The idea behind it.

Build a browser experiment that blends the rhythm of arcade blocks with the curiosity of a command-line mystery.

THE CHALLENGE

Keep arcade controls quick and responsive while a terminal puzzle occupies the same interface.

THE APPROACH

Separate pure game logic from a safe simulated command interpreter, wrapping both in a bold retro arcade layout.

02

WHAT WENT INTO IT

Built with intention.

01 / FEATURE

Falling-block arcade

Move, rotate, hold and drop pieces while tracking level, score and cleared lines.

02 / FEATURE

A simulated shell

Enter commands such as ls, cd and cat in a safe in-browser terminal.

03 / FEATURE

Four puzzle gates

Read files and solve terminal clues to unlock progress.

04 / FEATURE

Progress kept locally

Store arcade best scores and puzzle completion in localStorage.

03

STATE OF THE BUILD

Where it stands.

CURRENT STATUS / LIVE

TERMINAL//ZERO V2 is online with a falling-block game, four terminal puzzle gates, local scores and touch controls.
