01

THE STARTING POINT

The idea behind it.

Create an immediate, visual connection between a sound and the patterns inside it.

THE CHALLENGE

Realtime audio needs to stay responsive and feel expressive without asking visitors to upload files to a server.

THE APPROACH

Use the Web Audio API analyser and Canvas to draw spectrum bars, waveforms and circular audio reactions entirely in the browser.

02

WHAT WENT INTO IT

Built with intention.

01 / FEATURE

Audio from your device

Play a local audio file or connect a microphone after browser permission.

02 / FEATURE

Three visual modes

Switch between frequency bars, waveform and radial views.

03 / FEATURE

Change the feel

Adjust sensitivity and visualization color while the renderer updates.

04 / FEATURE

Capture a frame

Export a static PNG snapshot directly from Canvas.

03

STATE OF THE BUILD

Where it stands.

CURRENT STATUS / LIVE

WAVELAB is published as a standalone visualizer. The current editor supports audio files, microphone input, tuning controls and PNG captures; video export is not part of this release.

Audio analysis happens locally in the browser; uploaded music files are not sent to a server.
